Taka Corp Studio has announced that preorders are now open for their most ambitious project to date, a 1/6 scale resin statue of everyone’s favorite fire apparition, Hiei.

‘Dragon of Darkness Flame’ may be Taka Corp Studio’s first foray into creating Yu Yu Hakusho statues but by no means their last. A company representative informs us that the success of this release will lead to the development of more statues of the main characters in (what we hope will be) the near future.

Despite the high price point of €599 or $699.99 the statue’s launch has been an enormous success with around 300 of the 400 limited edition statues being sold within just the first few days.

For those of you wishing to add this piece to your collection you still have some time and can order from one of the official distributors listed below. Luckily, both distributors offer a payment plan of up to 10 instalments for those of us not wishing to drop such a big amount in one go.
