2020 may not be a good year for many things but it is seemingly a good year for Yu Yu Hakusho. Following the announcement of the Yu Yu Hakusho OVA being dubbed by Funimation and the continuation of the Yu Yu Hakusho Stage Play, Hot Topic has announced that they will be selling an exclusive Yoko Kurama Funko Pop figure from October 2020.
The Yoko Kurama Funko Pop is the first Yu Yu Hakusho Pop vinyl figure to be released since the initial production back in 2019. The initial run comprised of Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama and Botan. Like Yoko Kurama, Hiei was initially a Hot Topic exclusive and features the same prominent Hot Topic sticker on the packaging. Fans wanting to collect the figure without the Hot Topic sticker may be in luck, however. Later versions of the Hiei Funko Pop sold on Amazon and the Funimation store no longer sports the sticker. We expect that the Yoko Kurama figure will receive the same treatment in the not too distant future.
